Positioning of Adverts

Posted by work smart
After using AdSense for some time, you must have started wondering if there is anything you can do to improve your AdSense earning. But before you go on experimenting with this facility and you have to make a number of things about positioning.

The first thing you should know is that there is no universal position that is guaranteed to improve your income. That said, the part above about experimenting is meant to be taken literally. You must try the settings you can find the solution with the greatest benefit.

But of course some places usually better than others. Of course, Google recognizes this and they publish a "heat map" of how much revenue ads placed in certain parts of the page can bring you. Experimentation is often the best way you can find what suits the sub conscious mind of your audience.

In general, the most profitable ads are placed in the main content, generally right above it. But this is not a rule and there are exceptions. A known exception is having a news site or something similar to a new site.

If this is your case, you will often find that you generate more revenue by placing ads at the bottom of the content, just before the comments begin. This is because users finish reading a story, they have a short time they are looking for something more to do. And your AdSense ads can offer them something.

In addition, the placement of advertisements on the left side of the page seems to work better almost all the time. Of course, this makes sense because the text is usually written from left to right (unless you have some countries where it is in the other direction).

People will finish a sentence and return their eyes to the left, which means they are more likely to track your ads.

Also, there is a little more for these ads, then you just visually in the right place. If you have more than one ad you have to worry about their location in the code as well. And there's a very good reason for concern.

AdSense ads filled in the order it finds them in the source. This means that if the first you add in the code is not one that generates the most revenue, you'll soon begin to lose money rather than earning more.

This is because if AdSense ads are no longer it will complement your space with public service announcements or simply leave it blank completely. This means that if you're unlucky, you could find yourself with your most profitable locations not having any good ads to supplement your income.

There are other problems with the number of ads you place on your site. The problem is that if you have too many, rather than generate more revenue, you get a lower click through rate, visitors tend not to follow the announcements of where these come in excess.

You must constantly keep track of how users interact with your site. Keep an eye on where visitors will be looking at your site the most. This is usually the place where you want your ads first. Also try not to advertise in awkward positions because it can reduce the rate of clicks.

Of course, you still need to have ads that blend into your content and generally do not present the visitor on your site an unpleasant one. The key is to provide an enjoyable experience for visitors, while generating revenues from their exploration.

And yet, ultimately the best recipe will win a lot of experimentation. Make sure to use the AdSense channels and be aware of how certain ads in your pages are all changing positions to better supplement your income.
